As Director of Shanghai Xiehe Educational Group, he established 28 kindergartens, 3 adult vocational schools and 4 primary and secondary schools.

In recent years, he has been involved in 3 national educational key research porgrammes including oversea Chinese teaching projects, 1 World Bank project, 2 projects of the Education, Scientific and Cultural Committee of the United Nations, 1 project of the People’s Congress of China, 16 of the Education Ministry of China and a lot of other projects locally, nationally and internationally. He won a lot of prizes, 2 Best National Books prizes, 2 second prizes of national educational research, 3 first prizes and 2 second prizes of the same topic from Shanghai. He has 18 books published, and 124 articles and essays published as well.
